Did the submission deadline change?

I thought things were due July 26, but now it says August 9th?

  Hi - we are just about to send out an update communication to everyone.

  Due to recent problems with Apple's Developer Center (a required stop that enables iOS developers to submit their app) we're extending all challenge deadlines. The new dates have
  been updated in the challenge page. (At this time, there is no confirmation from Apple on when this problem will be fixed.)

  We apologize for this but Apple's Developer Center problems are out of our control and we feel it's fair to allow everyone to have more time for submission.
